The port of Ktikados has excellent wind protected beaches, restaurants and the main archaeological site of the inland, the ancient temple of Poseidon).
Ktikados has two taverns, a tiny one within a grocery and a larger one with a breathtaking view on the sea and the islands, which is considered among the two best of Tinos (Drossia).
The island of Tinos makes part of the Cycladic islands (named after their circular position towards the sacred island of Apollo, Delos) and is the second larger after Naxos.
It is composed of 47 villages all of them declared as traditional and offers many possibilities in terms of touring and walking.
The island has many beautiful sand beaches and it is well developed in terms of touristic installations but in mild way.
The island of Myconos is at a distance of only 10 minutes by speedboat (half an hour by regular ships) if intense night life is desired.
